Peggy Lau was born in San Francisco, California on February 26, 1998. She moved to Concord, California in 2005. Peggy is currently a senior at Northgate High School. She participates on the school's Cross Country and Track team. After graduating high school, Peggy hopes to go to college, preferably somewhere in Southern California. She wants to major in Kinesiology in order to one day become a physical therapist.
The reason why I chose this bill topic is that I believe that homelessness is a prevalent problem around the world. Millions of families and individuals do not have a place to call home. The purpose of my bill is to decrease the homeless population by providing permanent homes or apartments for them. My bill also creates numerous programs that will help those without a home to find a job or pursue an education. I believe that this will make an beneficial impact on the homeless population in our country.
